New Age Hand Dryers

April 27th, 2010

Let’s talk about hand dryers. 20 years ago your options were limited to a few inefficient energy hungry models that blew very little air and left you wiping your hands on the back of your pants to finish the job. Not any longer, Today’s market is saturated with high tech hand dryers that are faster, stronger, and more pleasing to the eye than those from years past. The “green” push has also helped many of today models make a very low impact on the environment and energy consumption. Among the front runners in increased efficiency and dry time are the Dyson Air Blade and the Excel Xlerator hand dryer. The Comac Blast and the Comac One are also worthy of mention. Dyson boasts an 85% increase in efficiency over its leading competitor while the Excel Xlerator uses 80% less energy than its competitors and is Green Spec approved and qualifies for Leed Credits. The Comac One is an impressive modular based hand dryer that allows the average restaurant owner to simply swap out a malfunctioning power unit with a new one without having to pay for and electrician. It is also the quietest dryer on the market. The Blast, also by Comac, offers universal voltage compatibility thanks to an auto sensing voltage circuit that instantly adjusts to 115, 208 05 230 volts. It also has a hand dry time of 10 seconds. As you can see these aren’t your daddy’s hand dryers from decades ago. Check out these an other great products at http://www.uwco.com/Hand-Dryers/
